By accessing or using the CMES.ca website (the "Site") and registering for its courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of this Site immediately.

  • Professional designation(s) (e.g., EPM, CCP, FPCC)

2.2 Financial Transactions

All payment processing is conducted exclusively through our third-party provider, Stripe. NCCME Inc. does not store, transmit, or retain any credit card or banking information. Financial transaction data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards.

2.3 Cookies and Technical Data

  • Login cookies authenticate your session and save screen display preferences. Login cookies expire after two days (or two weeks if "Remember Me" is selected); screen option cookies last one year.
  • Temporary cookies determine browser cookie acceptance and contain no personal data; they are discarded when you close your browser.
  • Editorial cookies (if applicable) indicate post IDs when editing/publishing content and expire after one day.

2.4 Comments and Reviews

If you submit comments or course reviews, they will be published publicly with your first name only attached. IP addresses and user agent strings are collected internally for spam detection purposes only and are not displayed publicly.

Paramedics must adhere to the most current protocols established by their serving agency and supervising physicians. In the event of any discrepancy, local protocols shall prevail.

6. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Many courses offered here are designated for pre-approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs), Contact Hours, or CE credits by recognized regulatory bodies. However, NCCME Inc. makes no guarantee that credits granted will be accepted by your specific licensing board in all jurisdictions.

It is the sole responsibility of the learner to:

  • Verify with their specific provincial/state regulatory body that the course meets individual recertification requirements prior to completion
  • Retain proof of completion per regulator record-keeping policies
  • Understand that approval status may change after publication
